Borderline Cover Contest


IMPORTANT: Please read these Official Rules before entering the Borderline Cover Contest presented by Square Communications Pvt Ltd. By entering the Contest, you agree to the terms of these Official Rules.


How to participate:

Guess The Color Of The Cover Page

  • Use Hastag #Borderline and #ColorofBorderline then write the color name
  • Tag @ShabriPrasadSingh on Facebook or @Shabrip twitter on and before 19.8.17.

Upcoming Event:

Give a Tagline Contest

  • Use Hastag #Borderline and #taglineforBorderline and then your suggested tagline
  • Tag @ShabriPrasadSingh on Facebook or twitter on and before 13.9.17
  • Ask your friends/family to like the tagline

Please note: the tagline may not be printed on the hardcover edition of Borderline by Shabri Prasad Singh, on sale September 15, 2017. The tagline may only be printed on a limited-edition print run.


  • Contest open to all participants aged 18 or over.
  • Any Employee and Family member of the agency, sponsors, publisher, other associate companies, Author’s immediate family members and persons living in their household are not eligible to enter the Contest.

Entry Period: The Contest consists of two (2) Entry Periods:
Entry Period 1 begins at 12:01 AM on July 24, 2017, and ends at 11:59 PM on August 18, 2017.
Entry Period 2 begins soon


Guess the Color

  • The Two entries will get regular couple movie tickets, the date and movie will be of the winner choice
  • The Winner will get a copy of Borderline, exclusively autographed by the author.

Give a Tagline contest

  • The entry which gets the maximum likes/reactions by the end of the contest will get the highest weightage.
  • A couple movie ticket
  • The selected Tagline may be printed at hardcover or limited edition of Borderline by Shabri Prasad Singh
  • The winner will receive a personal invite to attend Book Launch event and will be announced on the stage as well.
  • The Winner will get a copy of Borderline, exclusively autographed by the author.

Winners Announcement and Prize distribution::

  • The Winners will be announced on all social media pages and Website of the author.
  • Winner will receive regular couple movie tickets.
  • The winners must redeem his movie tickets within one month from the date of winner announcement, otherwise they will lapse.
  • Winner needs to inform the agency at mentioned email id at least 3 days in advance for his tickets.
  • Tickets on a particular date or show will be subject to availability. Agency will not be responsible for non- availability of the show.
  • Winner will need to arrange his own travel and stay for the launch event. Any such expenses shall be born by the winner.

Terms and conditions:

  • Both phases of the Contest will close on the day stated.
  • Each entry can only be entered once. Duplicates will not be considered.
  • All entries must be submitted through Facebook or twitter only.
  • The subtitle must be your original one.
  • You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of subtitle entered.
  • Agency reserves the right, at our discretion, to disqualify or discount any entrant, or vote connected to votes cast by unfair means.
  • Prize is non-transferable.
  • Agency does not accept any liability for the publication of unlawfully reproduced taglines
  • Agency takes no responsibility for corrupted or late entries.
  • By entering your tagline, you grant agency and the author, the exclusive right to reproduce it for any purpose at any time in any media.
  • The winners consent to the use of their tagline, name and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by the Company, without further compensation.
  • The winning tagline will be judged by Shabri Prasad Singh and the agency, where appropriate.
  • The Agency’s decision on all matters relating to the contest is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • Agency reserves the right to withhold prizes if, in the opinion of the judges, the quality of entries falls below the standard required.
  • In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address used for entry.

In addition, your Tagline must NOT contain:

  • any content which endorses or condones illegal drug use or alcohol abuse;
  • any derogatory characterization of an ethnic, racial, sexual or religious group;
  • any unauthorized use of a service mark, trademark, brand, copyrighted work or any other property, tangible or intangible, or location or place or that would otherwise not be considered Entrant’s original work
  • any unauthorized use of a name, person, location, graphic, picture, photo, character, real or fictional, or any other use which may violate any rights of publicity, privacy or any other right of a third party.
